If I had 4k to spend on a hunting rifle, then Iโd buy a 700 dollar tikka and a 3.3k scope if that tells you anything. The tikka has the best factory action Iโve ever felt, and theyโre definitely accurate enough to do whatever you need them to. If I did anything to it after purchase, it would just be to possibly cerakote it and replace the stock with solid fiberglass or carbon fiber. Every hunting rifle I buy from now on will most likely be made in Finland.
Got the tikka veil in the wooldand & got my first deer with it this year. Ive been precision shooting far before hunting & u cant beat the tikka. Most "sub moa" guns realistically shoot 1.5-2in groups with range ammo but my tikka is true sub moa with all ammo i run through it.
I would say remington, but everybody kept saying that they're not as good as they used Some people say that bergara. It's the new Remington or better. I don't know what We just have to see
In my opinion tikka is the best all around. Of course you have christiansens or Macmillanโs that rich ass people buy, but out of all the common to see brands, tikka and weatherby take the cake.
I've had them all and then some more high end rifles the cheep savage and ruger almost always shoot better by far that 1 moa promise means they shoot 5 groups if one is that or better she's good lol if I hade 10 k to pick any rifle I wanted to use for hunting I'd buy a ruger savage or build one seekins is also not worth the extra money
Wrong! Buy An All American Light Weight Semi-Auto In The Ole Reliable .308/7.62X51mm Like The Ruger SFAR With The 18" Barrel, Can It And You Can Even Make It A Bolt Action If Need Be, Via Replacing The Charging Handle & B.C.G Retention, Temporally For Hunting Season! Or Go With Something To Even Ward Off Bear And Cover It All, With Ole Trusty 12 Gauge Shotgun Running Slugs, Buck Shot, Or Even Bird Shot And Light Loads For Target Training! Praise The Good Lord Jesus, Learn It, Love It, Live It, Pa-Pow, Amen! ๐ ๐บ๐ธ
I looked at the ruger american but settled for the Tikka t3x superlite chambered in 270 and do not regret my decision. Ive shot my friends ruger american in 308 and its decent but the bolt on my Tikka is so smooth and the quality feel to the entire gun is way worth it to spend the extra money
Q is mid at best. Their finishes are horrible, I've seen rusted internals, and they are obsessed with their own ecosystem. Theyre like the apple of the gun world, and thats not a compliment.
