While THCOTW is definitely a bit more realistic in terms of how you move and stalk, you can go FOREVER without seeing an animal, they don't move as realistically as they should, etc. I have both and think RDR2 has much better animal populations, you can hunt birds (only ducks in THCOTW and it's not realistic at all), and fish, which is pretty cool. I wish you could merge the best of RDR2 and COTW and make the ultimate hunting game.
