Animals spawn all over the world of Red Dead but I will show you some of the best locations to set up your camp so you can do some Red Dead Online hunting. I know at the moment in RDO there is an animal spawn problem but I will show you how to get around that so you can do some RDR2 Online hunting.

21.06.2022Lol dude, free single server is easy cake, it's old trick that works for last 7 years in GTA and works as good in Red dead. At least on pc, 100% will do on consoles as well. Easy way is when have a cable instead of a WiFi, cable ALWAYS better but any way. While in game/online unplug cable for even 5 seconds and plug it back in, boom network error comes up in a corner of the screen, that will kick everyone out and live you alone. With WiFi it's a bit more complicated, you need to turn it of and on and get into 5 sec mark, it is VERY important as at 6th second game will actually kick you into story mode. So, unplug, count to 5 put back in,
at 4th second of "no Internet" game will recover you into same server, at 5th leave you alone in same server but kick everyone else and at 6th will kick you. This works, always, I'm using it for years

21.06.2022My favorite place for my camp is Little Creek River. Lots of 3 star deer, plus the gang hideout at Hanging Dog Ranch. Not to mention it’s (to me), one of the most beautiful locations on the map.

*over flow area is used for duck/goose farming. Obviously for the fat. That's needed in pvp for explosive ammunition
*when hunting byson
Do not use a bolt action
Use a cacarno
Or the rolling block
Use express ammo
And stack your ability damage cards
While in dead eye. There are red markers which indicate 1 shot deaths. One is the head and the other is the heart
Shooting down a whole herd of byson takes some practice but it's manageable. Make sure you buy the trinket from gus which gives a higher chance of 3 star pelt.
I use this location and great plains to do a full restock and getting a high number of 3 star pelts cuts the time down dramatically

18.06.2022The best way to hunt is being in a solo session I play on PS4 and I simply change my MTU size down to 650 which you can find in the network custom settings. Being in a session with near a max session or less tends to spawn less animals and less player encounters too. When in a solo session I find groups of deer and other animals in groups of more than 6 with one or two being three stars.

17.06.2022I ALWAYS place my camp at the heartlands ! There are 3 bucks that spawn on the regular! Triangle ( emerald ranch ) from town go to fast travel area and behind that is a hill go up and to right there is a buck ( on top of hill spawns 4 deer on regular)
Once past fast travel to left is a Triangle path area on map with rr and path cross to make Triangle ( always a buck there laying down )
And finally the a buck drinking from heartland overflow on backside closest to rr tracks
And countless duck fat location ( heartland overflow)
All is within very short distance and if it was a flat area u could get all 3 with rifle but u can due to hills and trees blocking

17.06.2022To get a solo lobby on PC open Resource monitor, find RDR2.exe and suspend process for 7 1/2 seconds and resume process.
You will get a message saying "You have changed sessions due to a network error."
you will now be alone in a free roam session.

15.06.2022I hunt above owanjila which is left of strawberry on the map, if you go above that on your horse you'll find a location of what looks to be dead leafless trees where boar spawn, if you go farther you'll find a beautiful spot filled of purple flowers that you can get your camp to spawn in at that has a river going through it, there you can find packs of deer time to time and elk, sometimes very rarely wolves to, then if hunting for money not trader closer to the lake is gus where you can sell animal parts, so at the lake you can find rarely but possible find moose, beavers, birds that sit on the lake and fish, you go more up you find deer and sometimes elk, you go left of that you can follow a stream going from the lake to the open purple flower spot, by the stream you can find ducks, if you go more up near the mountain you will find a spot with leafless trees (where you can also get you camp to spawn at) and there will be boar in that area, go even farther up and you reach a open thing of purple flowers with a farm near it where you can find whitetail deer, whitetail bucks, pronghorn deer and bucks, some times wolves, and elk, rarely (out of my long time hunting there I only found this 3 times) a moose. If you go even farther up, to the right of the farm and near the train tracks you can find wooded area where bear spawn sometimes, if I'm correct you can also super far left of it. Also in the wooded area above it there is someone that I think gives missions and outside of their house they have chickens I think and I think sheep you can kill and bring back to your camp and all of that is close together and you can probably get from the lake to the purple flowers within a minute or 2 on a horse (I use a mustang, I think you can also get there that fast with a Tennessee horse, not to sure about scrawny nag) Long comment but I always loved hunting there and I wanted to say what all was there
Edit: There are also tracks or roads near all of that so while looking for animals you can stop wagons and loot the chest and lock boxes also there are packs of wild horses that spawn near the area with purple flowers

15.06.2022I like this one area a little bit above Saint Denis that has alligators, deer's, and birds. The reason why I like it so much is because a lot of alligators spawn and the fact that the butcher is close by so you can just kill the alligators, skin them take them to the butcher and just head back to the area again.
