I was here for this and found a shiny turtwig by accident the other day and I originally was gonna name it Evie but I already had a Yanma named Evie so I named it Candy
My first shiny was from crystal version it was a shiny female Eevee because I wanted to girl Eevee from bill so I safe rest until I saw a girl symbol āļø. I didn't know it was shiny at the time because I was playing it on a Gameboy instead of a Gameboy color. Until I gotten a GBA and played it on it and say it was gray Eevee and not brown. I wish the internet exist at the time but it didn't. I only had to rely on my strategy guide on pokemon crystal š®. I feel old knowing that I'm older than than the internet and YouTube.
i know this might sound down right like a lie i couldn't believe it myself either infact i thought maybe it was a glitch but no it was genuine. i was just doing the legendary and mythical quest right after i beat Pokemon arceus when i saw a turtwig outbreak(note i didn't do the mass mass outbreaks quest yet) and it conveniently on the way to where i was going so i went there not even because i wanted shinies but because i love turtwig and can't get enough of em and i was just halfway through the outbreak when i shiny appeared it was a female, i named her twig and i saved immediately and caught it then right after i caught it another shiny turtwig appeared, it was male and i named him snappy i have both of them today and i love both of them. i felt so bad watching this too because in pokemon diamond the original copy i accidently got a shiny turtwig the first time i played i named it twig because it was female i never got to transfer her to the newer games but i think i found her predecessor.
PS. can i get the actualy chances of both of these events happening?
I was thankfully I completed the Pokedex in legends Arceus and caught every mythical Pokemon I completed this Pokemon game in a month that is my greatest achievement
If you Wana shiny hunt you have to be extremely committed for example earlier around 3:00 to 5:00 I was shiny hunting now I had to go to the grocery store but instead of leaving my 2Ds at home I took it in the car and played and when I got home ate dinner and instead of relaxing I am now still shiny hunting

Yesterday I ended up finding a shiny turtwig in legends arceus. It spawned outside of a mass outbreak and apparently is a rare spawn. To add more fuel to a burning fire I only caught 2 turtwig and had nothing from the sec completed. So this by far is one of my rarest shinies, aside from the shiny zorua Iām hunting in legends arceus
As for me, I just got into Letās Go Eevee and thought itād be a good idea to hunt charmander (why not itās 1/315 odds). I was wrong. I went into the thousands on catch combos for the most unlucky shiny hunt Iāve ever had in my near decade of the franchise.
