The Honey Hunters of Nepal have a 260 year-old tradition of scaling mountains in search for a rare honey only found in the Himalayas that makes people hallucinate. We travel to the depths of the country of Nepal in search for these brave people and capture their story.
These stories searching for some of the world’s rawest and most authentic experiences is what I feel most excited about in this chapter of my journey as a story-teller. Super proud of this one, I hope you enjoy 🙂

The Truth Is The Solution
30.09.2022How Do Drugs Work?
Drugs are essentially poisons. The amount taken determines the effect.
A small amount acts as a stimulant (speeds you up). A greater amount acts as a sedative (slows you down). An even larger amount poisons and can kill.
This is true of any drug. Only the amount needed to achieve the effect differs.
But many drugs have another liability: they directly affect the mind. They can distort the user’s perception of what is happening around him or her. As a result, the person’s actions may be odd, irrational, inappropriate and even destructive.
Drugs block off all sensations, the desirable ones with the unwanted. So, while providing short-term help in the relief of pain, they also wipe out ability and alertness and muddy one’s thinking.
Medicines are drugs that are intended to speed up or slow down or change something about the way your body is working, to try to make it work better. Sometimes they are necessary. But they are still drugs: they act as stimulants or sedatives, and too much can kill you. So if you do not use medicines as they are supposed to be used, they can be as dangerous as illegal drugs.
Normally, when a person remembers something, the mind is very fast and information comes to him quickly. But drugs blur memory, causing blank spots. When a person tries to get information through this cloudy mess, he can’t do it. Drugs make a person feel slow or stupid and cause him to have failures in life. And as he has more failures and life gets harder, he wants more drugs to help him deal with the problem.
Drugs Destroy Creativity
One lie told about drugs is that they help a person become more creative. The truth is quite different.
Someone who is sad might use drugs to get a feeling of happiness, but it does not work. Drugs can lift a person into a fake kind of cheerfulness, but when the drug wears off, he or she crashes even lower than before. And each time, the emotional plunge is lower and lower. Eventually, drugs will completely destroy all the creativity a person has.
“During the whole time I was on drugs I thought I had control over my life and that I had it great. But I destroyed everything I had built up and fought for in my life. I cut ties to all my drug-free friends and my family, so I hadn’t any friends but my drug mates. Every day revolved around one thing: my plan for getting the money I needed for drugs. I would do everything possible to get my amphetamine—it was the only thing in my life.” —Pat https://www.drugfreeworld.org/drugfacts/drugs/why-do-people-take-drugs.html

29.09.2022This video isn't about the honey, it's about the journey to get the honey. You can't get Mad Honey without experiencing Nepalese culture to get it.

29.09.2022These r some awesome visuals and you guys done good to bring it to us, but u got to stop this tired Western humor that has to do with the "craziness" of what it is you r doing: yes the roads r dangerous, the conditions r poor, the weather is uncooperative. Its a GIVEN when u undertake something as unique as this honey harvest, so just MAN UP and deal with it, will you?! The people you are visiting live their whole lives in these circumstances without as much as making a single complaint, so next time u hit the road do us a favor and be more like the stoic locals and less of the spoiled Western Royalty with the expensive equipment and "important goals".
Frankly, i am only interested in the actual subject of your video and not the least in your artificial "difficulties" of adjusting to the "unbearable local conditions". You are NOT heroes for going there to shoot these videos, only the journalists (and, apparently, clothes salesmen to boot!) u r aspiring to be.
So stop pretending, stop whining and being all cute as to how hard it is for YOU to adjust to the "insanity", – the insanity is living your whole live in a protective bubble of Western consumerism, without EVER venturing out of your comfort zones, without EVER learning of how the rest of the world, – (and that would be the absolute MAJORITY of it!), – exists and survives, doing what you are doing is, and should be so considered, – a NORM, a necessity almost, a requirement, if i could have it my way, for any Westerner to educate him or herself on realities of life outside the suffocating market-place mentality of "advanced capitalism".

29.09.2022May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, & a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, & his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."
God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, & abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone…" Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus & put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) & stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

23.09.2022Okay even things that trigger my extreme fears such as bees and heights and bugs in general usually don't elicit much of a reaction if I'm just watching it. I have to interact at a real level for it to cause much in the way of anxiety but the production value of your film coupled with my biggest fears I had to actually stop the film three or four times because of anxiety. Believe it or not that's a huge compliment but just shows how good your programming is.. unreal what humans do. All I can say is that honey better be some real good s*it…
